Brown Caps defeated in final Pro ARCH Trophy game

The Surrey Brown Caps finished the Emirates Airline Pro ARCH Trophy in sixth place after a six wicket loss to the Sussex Sharks in Abu Dhabi. A maiden hundred by skipper Michael Brown saw the Brown Caps post 255 for 4. However, a century from Joe Gatting helped the Sharks knock of the runs to earn victory and fifth place.

Ramprakash gets the Brown Caps over the line against the U.A.E.

An unbeaten century by Mark Ramprakash and a century stand with Chris Jordan saw the Surrey Brown Caps chase 270 to win by five wickets against the United Arab Emirates. Normal service resumed for Ramprakash as he hit an unbeaten 127 to see his side home to record their first win of the year.

Surrey Brown Caps lost their opening match of the Emirates Airline Pro ARCH Trophy to Yorkshire Carnegie by 33 runs as a century from Michael Vaughan helped Carnegie post 295 for 7. The Brown Caps gave a spirited chase under the lights of the Sheikh Zayed Stadium which included half-centuries from Usman Afzaal, Stewart Walters and debutant Michael Brown, but fell 33 runs short.
